PLZ TUNER (we call it "the App") is a radio streaming app from PLZ Platform ("we", "our", or "us"). This page explains what information we collect and how we use it. If you have questions, our contact details are at the bottom.
By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.
When you first use the App, it generates a random installation identifier. This identifier is used to associate your favourites, recently played stations, and other App preferences with your installation. It is not derived from your device's IMEI, IMSI, serial number, or other hardware identifier, and we do not use it to identify you by name.
You can reset it by clearing the App's storage or reinstalling the App.
The App remembers which stations you play and which ones you favourite. This is how we show you your "Recently Played" list and keep your library in sync. The data is tied to your installation identifier, never to your real identity.
You do not need to sign up, register an email, or enter any personal information. Just open the App and start listening.
You may submit a radio stream URL to the App to connect to a station that is not already listed in the directory. We may process and store the submitted stream URL and technical station metadata, such as the station name, stream format, bitrate, and availability status, to enable station playback and discovery for other PLZ TUNER users.
When you submit a radio stream, the station may become part of the PLZ TUNER station directory after technical validation. Other users may be able to discover and play that station. The station information stored relates to the radio service itself (such as stream URL, station name, codec, and bitrate), not to your personal identity.
The station registry may associate the initial discovery of a stream with the anonymous installation identifier used to submit it. We do not require you to provide your name, email address, or other direct personal information to submit a stream.

We do not use your data for:

Your favourites and history work fully offline. They are stored on your device first. The server copy allows the App to synchronise your library across sessions while the same installation identifier is available on your device.
Streaming audio servers - When you play a station, your device connects to that station's streaming infrastructure. Your IP address is passed to the radio station's streaming server. This is inherent to any internet audio connection. Radio stations available through PLZ TUNER are operated by independent organisations. Those operators may process technical information according to their own privacy practices. PLZ Platform does not control those third-party privacy policies.
Analytics - The App collects anonymous operational information and sends it to our server. This information may include:
This data is used solely to operate, improve, troubleshoot, and secure the App. It is not used to identify you personally or to build advertising profiles.
Build and distribution - We use Expo and EAS to build and distribute the App. During development and build time, Expo may process device information. The Expo SDK included in the App does not transmit runtime data to Expo services in production. See Expo's privacy policy here.
We do not use ad networks, third-party analytics SDKs, or any other tracking services.
We never sell or rent your data.

To use any of these rights, email us (see below). We will reply within 30 days.
The App is not meant for children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has used the App, please tell us and we will delete the data.
If we change this policy in a material way, we will let you know on the Settings screen of the App. We will also update the date at the top of this page. Please check back once in a while.
If you live in California, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

To request deletion of your data, email us with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include your Installation ID. You can find your Installation ID in the App's Settings screen under About.
